Aligarh Muslim University Distance Education Centre’s prospectus released.

ALIGARH May 22: The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. Tariq Mansoor, today released the admission prospectus of the Centre for Distance Education, AMU, for the session 2017-18.
Appreciating the large spectrum of educational programmes that it offers, Prof. Mansoor said that the Centre was doing a novel work by providing the educational facility to economically marginalized section in distance mode and this will go a long way in empowering women, especially, he added.
Prof. Mohd. Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Director of the Centre, while highlighting the programmes of the Centre, informed that the Centre presently offered several one year and long term programmes including Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2 Arts and Commerce), BA/B.Com. (Hons.), Certificate and Diploma in Communicative English, Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counselling, Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, Post Graduate Diploma in Portfolio Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Language for Advertisement, Marketing and Media, Bachelor in Library and Information Science, MA (Urdu, English Litrature, Political Science, Islamic Studies, History) and M. Com.
Prof. Ansari said that candidates, interested in pursuing these courses, may get the admission forms available with the office of the Distance Education Centre from May 25, 2017.
