Barclays and AMU enter in association.


Aligarh, May 22: Multinational Corporation Bank, Barclays and NASSCOM Foundation in association with the Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University will soon start arranging webinars, guest lectures, seminars, life skills training and placement assistance for the AMU students.
The step has been taken by AMU’s Training and Placement Office (General) as a part of an initiative to build a strong interface between AMU and the corporate world.
Mr Saad Hameed, the Training and Placement Officer (General) AMU has stated that the objective of the association is to build the two premier norms together to build the industry and academic relationship.
The association will help students to learn the requirements of the Job market and it will also help them to become employable, said Mr Saad Hameed.
He further informed that soon after the association was established, students of B Tech, MBA, MSW, MCA and BCA were sent on Industrial Visits to the Barclays Corporate Office, Noida, where they were given the necessary exposure on the corporate house functioning, MOCK Interview, business etiquettes and the general DOs and DONTs of the Corporate World.
In a feedback, officials associated with Barclays have said that this is the first of its kind association between Barclays Bank and the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University. They added, “We are very impressed with the talent in AMU.”
